Mary Joan Wooten

Mary Joan Wooten, age 79, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at her residence in State Road.

Joan was born July 14, 1944 in Wilkes County to Paul Robert Wooten and Lillie Bernice Sturdivant Wooten.

Joan loved her family and dog Tri and was avid about her eBay business store.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Brady Wooten and a sister Judy Edmonds.

Survivors include: husband, Ray Edgar Felts, Jr. of the home, a brother Dale Wooten of Hamptonville, and sisters Phyllis Johnson of Hamptonville, Vivian Triplett (Dale) of Elkin, Darlene Layell, and her husband Johnny of Elkin, and sister-in-law Ruth Wooten of Hamptonville, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at a later date.
