Mattie Lou Wall

Mrs. Mattie Lou Collins Wall, age 93, formerly of Austin Traphill Rd passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Wall was born June 30, 1928 in Surry County to Samuel Russell and Rosa Renegar Collins.

Mrs. Wall was a member of Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from Cash & Carry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Avery Wall, Jr.; and sons, Dale Wall and Darwin Wall.

Survivors include: her daughter-in-law, Donna Wall of King; grandchildren, Mark Wall and wife Amanda of Pilot Mountain, Mindy Wall Malloy and husband Matthew of King; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wall and Avery Malloy.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Greg Runner and Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Elkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church, 258 W. Main St., Jonesville, NC 28642.
