Nadine Billings Faw

Nadine Billings Faw, age 89, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at her residence in Ronda.
Nadine was born September 24, 1935, in Wilkes County to Lonnie and Berchie Tucker Billings.

She was a faithful member of Little Elkin Baptist Church. Nadine enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her family and church family.

In addition to her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, James Rex Faw; brother, William Billings; sister, Mabel Gentry; and granddaughter, Erica Pardue.

Survivors include her son, Tracy Faw of Ronda; daughter, Lisa Pardue and husband Tim of Ronda; sister, Edna Yates of N. Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Jacob Pardue and Kayla Bare and husband Austin; great-grandchildren, Harper Bare and Luke Bare; and several loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Pridemore and Rev. Seth Siceloff officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
