Nancy Masten Byrd

Mrs. Nancy Masten Byrd, age 85, of Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin.

Nancy was a member of Arlington First Baptist Church, she was a loving mother and was the socialite of Jonesville.  Nancy loved going to Patty’s to eat and socialize.

In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Quincy Edward “Bud” Byrd.

Survivors include: her daughter, Teresa Fowler and husband, Mark of Kernersville; sister, Louise Byrd of Winston Salem; special friends, Toni and David Sturgill; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews and her dog, Precious.

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington First Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Alford officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arlington First Baptist Church, 345 South Main Street, Jonesville, NC  28642.
