Odell Mccann

Mr. Grover Odell McCann, age 83, of Jonesville passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. McCann was born August 14, 1938 in Wilkes County to Otto and Mamie Laster McCann.

Mr. McCann was a member of Charity United Methodist Church and retired from East Coast Mills.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, three brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include: his wife, Nancy Spicer McCann of the home; sons, John Spicer and his wife Roberta, Billy Spicer and his wife Donna, Charles Spicer and his wife Becky, Scott McCann, Greg McCann; daughter, Beth Holloway; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Charity United Methodist Church with Rev. Rex Cranfill and Rev. Cindy Furr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Masks will be required to be worn by all those in attendance.
