Ola Alexander

Mrs. Ola Mae Billings Alexander, age 92, of Elkin passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at her home. Mrs. Alexander was born October 21, 1929 in Iredell County to James Callaway Billings and Ada Elizabeth Billings.

Mrs. Alexander was a member of Arlington First Baptist Church and retired seamstress. She enjoyed cooking and baking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Alexander; son-in-law, Gary Arnold Seal; and several siblings.

Survivors include: her sons, Fred Stephen Alexander and his wife June of Thurmond, Darrell Alexander and his wife Michelle of Elkin; daughter, Kristie Alexander Luffman and husband Clyde of Ronda; grandchildren, Jason Walker and his wife Tomika, Jessie Walker and his wife Jessica, Michael Walker, Aaron Alexander and his wife Ashlie, Mark Alexander; great-grandchildren, Braylon Walker, Taitum Walker, Cariden Walker, Tinslie Walker, Jessa Lee Walker, Oliva Alexander, Ava Alexander; very special friend, Aaliyah Thomas; and several loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Matty Ponce-de-Leon officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
