Olivia "Lib" Barker

Mrs. Olivia “Lib” Redding Barker, age 75, of Roaring River passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Barker was born January 28, 1946 in Wilkes County to Troy Franklin Redding and Mary Louise Ferguson Redding.

Mrs. Barker attended Elkin Valley Baptist Church and retired from Carolina Glove.

Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Fred F. Barker of the home; half-brother, Jeffrey F. Redding and wife Robbie of Clingman; and special fur baby, Tres.

A private graveside service will be conducted at Oak Level Baptist Church with Dr. Johnny Blevins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Oak Level Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 123, Roaring River, NC 28669.
