Pamela Deskins Lyon

Mrs. Pamela Deskins Lyon, age 55, of State Road passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Lyon was born January 24, 1964 in Alamance County to Roy Ray and Shelby Holland Deskins.

Mrs. Lyon was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and retired ultrasound technician from Duke University Health Care Systems. She enjoyed helping others and volunteered with Lifeline Pregnancy Help Center.

Mrs. Lyon was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include: husband, Alan Lyon of the home; son, Jacob Lyon of the home; mother, Shelby Holland Deskins of Wilkesboro; brothers, Roy Deskins of Winston-Salem and Kevin Deskins and wife Melissa of North Wilkesboro.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Pastor Robbie Wood and Rev. Kenny Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
