Patrick Aaron Wagner

Mr. Patrick Aaron Wagner, age 29, of Boonville passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Patrick was born May 5, 1992 in Surry County to Henry Lee Wagner and Vickie Burcham Ross.

Patrick loved music, kayaking, fishing, and laughing. He had a big heart and was very empathetic. Patrick was a loving son, brother, and father.

Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Curtis Burcham and Sharon Stonestreet; infant twin siblings, Caleb and Noriah; and stepfather, Warney Ray Smith, Jr

Survivors include: his children, Christopher Aaron Darnelle Hooks, Aiden Joshua Wagner, Kashton Wagner; mother, Vickie Ross; stepfather, Anthony Lamont Gibbs; brother, Ashhur Jalen Gibbs; sisters, Mercedes Ebony Smith and Niehaimah Karmil Gibbs; stepbrothers, Darien Cheeks, D’wonerian Smith, and Jesse Smith; uncles, James Burke and Jeffrey Smith; special aunts, Marissa Collins and Patricia Williams; aunts, Lisa Hamilton, Serena Childress, and Karen Smith; grandmother, Dorothy Smith.; nieces, Lylli Elaine Adams and Laykin Evae Adams; best friend, Jeffrey Combs; special friend, Luis Aguilera Garcia; and numerous cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Apostle Sylvester Lee Gillespie officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
