Paul Billings

Mr. William Paul Billings, Sr., age 57, of Traphill passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at his home. Paul was born December 16, 1963 in Surry County to Lester and Alice “Dolly” Billings.

Paul was the owner of Billings Auto Sales, past president of the Traphill Fire Department and past member of the Wilkes County Planning Board.

Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Estelle Billings.

Survivors include: his son, William Paul Billings, Jr. of Traphill, parents, Lester and Dolly Billings of Traphill; brothers, Bobby Lee Billings and wife Pamela of Traphill, Wayne Billings and wife Courtney of Raleigh; sister, Phyllis Myers and husband Jimmy of Traphill; ten nieces and nephews, Matthew Billings, Jacob Billings, Steven Myers, Amber Myers, Brody Billings, Abigail Billings, Hannah Billings, Payton Billings, Taylor Billings, and Avery Billings.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Billings Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Foster, Rev. Danny Bauguess, and Rev. Justin Wells officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
