Peggy Money

Mrs. Peggy Ruth Shore Money, age 91, of Sherrills Ford passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. Mrs. Money was born October 20, 1930 in Wilkes County to John Wiley Shore and Mozelle Tucker Shore.

Mrs. Money was a member of Mount Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden, NC and spent most of her adult life working in insurance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Money, Jr; brothers, Jack Shore, Ned Shore, and Samuel Shore.

Survivors include: her son, William Money and his wife Jennifer of Huntersville; daughter, Sharlene Massey and her husband Otis of Sherrills Ford; half-brothers, John Shore, Jr. of Jonesville, Jim Shore and his wife Cathy of Jonesville, Ronnie Shore and his wife Faye of State Road, Donnie Shore and his wife Pat of Sparta; grandchildren, Brent Hicks, Meredith Money, Matthew Money, Alishia Money, Jacob Money; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Elkin Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Donald Cline officiating.
