Phyllis D Gregory

Mrs. Phyllis Diane Gregory, age 66, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Gregory was born September 19, 1956 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Clarence and Delma Cantrell Smith.

Phyllis was a member of Community Fellowship Church and retired from Phillips Van Heusen. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: daughter, Courtney Hundley and her husband Brian of Elkin; brother, Danny Hege and his wife Debra of Port Richey, Fl.; sisters, Patti Smith Pruitt of Ronda, Kim Robertson and her husband Michael of Jonesville, Linda Luffman and her husband Frank Jr. of State Road and Melody Sawicki of Davison, MI; grandson, Tanner Price and a loving rescue dog Layla.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Michael Osborne officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday, December 16, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
