Randy Barker

Randall (Randy) Ray Barker, 62, of Roaring River passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Randy was born on February 6th, 1962 in Surry County to Cornice Ray and Estelene Garris Barker.

Randy was a cat lover, and enjoyed card tricks, playing guitar, and singing.  He loved his family and enjoyed helping friends and family when needed.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include; son, Carson Barker of Boonville, daughter, Allie Barker, of Boonville, brother Ricky Reavis and wife Elaine of Boonville, sister, Sherry Barker Swaim of North Wilkesboro, and granddaughter, Rachel Barker.  Nieces and nephews, Jessica Church and Andrew, Houston Reynolds and Amelia, Weston Swaim, Kara Wooten and Brian, and Nicole Hamby,  great nephews, Luke Church, Otto Church, and Mack Church.  Also surviving are special friends Brandi and Chad Harris of Ronda and former wife, Pam Golden of Boonville

An inurnment will be held at Ronda Cemetery at a later date.
