Raymond Roy Marsh

Mr. Raymond Roy Marsh, age 92, of Union Grove passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his home. Mr. Marsh was born December 16, 1928 in Fries, VA to Joby and Janette Hall Marsh.

Mr. Marsh was the owner operator of Elkin Valley Paint Service and loved fishing on the coast of North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Marsh; daughter, Katherine Marsh; sons, Mike Marsh, Eddie Marsh; grandson, Christopher Marsh; great-grandson, Dillon Wood; brothers, Jack Marsh, Albert Marsh; sisters, Lois Murphy and Dorothy Watson.

Survivors include: son, Phil Douglas Marsh and fiancée Dawn of Atlantic Beach, NC; daughters, Wanda Walker and husband Gerald of Jonesville, Geneva Davis and husband Roger of East Bend, Jennifer McCormick and husband Todd of East Bend; significant other, Helen Speaks of Union Grove; sisters, Marie Anders, Helen Caudle; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kenny Pardue officiating.
