Richard Charette

Mr. Richard Andre Charette, age 61, of Elkin passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born June 11, 1958 in Buffalo, NY.

Mr. Charette was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was an avid gardener and fisherman and enjoyed reading and cooking.

Mr. Charette was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerome Velotta.

Survivors include: wife, Leslie H. Charette of the home; mother, Anita Velotta of IL; stepson, Tyler Smith and wife Celina of Newland; sisters, Michelle Charette of IL, Ginette Derive of IL; two step-grandchildren, Tatiana Smith and Niko Smith.
