Ricky Lynn Houston

Mr. Ricky Lynn Houston, age 63, of Jonesville passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at his home. Mr. Houston was born August 19, 1957 in Iredell County to Don Wesley and Ruth Marlowe Houston, Sr.

Mr. Houston was retired from Averitt Trucking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Don Wesley Houston, Jr., Billy Ray Houston, and Jerry Eugene Houston,

Survivors include: his wife, Karen Smith Houston of the home; brothers, Ronnie Houston and wife Beverly of Statesville, Richard Houston of Statesville, Tommy Joe Houston and wife Charlie of Elkin; sisters, Peggy Blackburn and husband Rickie of Elkin, Linda Scott and husband Gary of Elkin, Sherry Richardson of Elkin,  Wanda Kay Mull of Gastonia; and several special nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be conducted at Elkin Funeral Service with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Gardens.
