Robbie Joe Gentry

Mr. Robbie Joe Gentry, age 63, of Traphill passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home. Mr. Gentry was born February 4, 1957 in Surry County to Bobby Joe and Mary Jane Shore Gentry.

Mr. Gentry attended Mining Ridge Baptist Church, worked for Chatham Manufacturing, and was a hardworking man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Lee Gentry.

Survivors include: sons, Tony Wayne Gentry of Dobson, Roger Lee Gentry and wife Shanda of State Road; brothers, Barry Gentry and wife Cindy of State Road, Joey Gentry and wife April of Elkin; sisters, Tammy Anderson and husband Junior of Traphill, Sandra Galehouse and husband Bobby of Elkin; sister-in-law, Kim Hudspeth and husband Steve of State Road; grandchildren, Bryce Vestal, Briggs Gentry, and Ethan Gentry.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Kenny Wood officiating.
