Roger David Mink

Mr. Roger David Mink, age 73, of Ronda passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Mink was born November 3, 1946 in Wilkes County to Bud and Rose Handy Mink.

Mr. Mink was a long-time member of Macedonia Baptist Church and owner of Roger’s Used Cars. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Mink; sister, Shirlee Combs; and brothers, Tony Mink and Joe Mink.

Survivors include: sons, Buddy Mink of Fort Mill, SC, Sam Mink of Mooresville, Brandon Mink of Ronda; daughter, Diana Caudill and husband Aaron of Ronda; grandchildren, Jodi Mink, Blake Caudill, Brady Caudill, Wesley Caudill, Kiera Caudill, Keller Mink, Isaac Mink, and Kendall Mink.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, PO Box 40, Ronda, NC 28670 or Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017.
