Roger Dale Nance

Mr. Roger Dale Nance, age 60, of Jonesville, beloved husband, father, poppy and friend went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at his home.

Roger was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He had a passion for racing that he long shared with his boys, small engine repair services that he provided for several members of the community, Chevrolets and was proud to be an American. Roger was an avid Earnhardt fan. He had multiple friends and loved talking and meeting new people. But what he loved most was to be surrounded by his family, especially, his grandchildren.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Nance; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Opal Nance; step brother, Victor Sewell and fur baby, Norm.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 39 years Susan Nance; daughters, Heather Renegar and her husband Michael, Andrea Wagoner and her husband Robert; sons, Jonathan Nance and his wife LeighAnn, Jeremy Nance and his wife Amy; Roger’s pride and joy, his grandchildren, Addison, Connor, Jake, Luke, Lincoln and baby Nance; brothers, Rocky Nance and his wife Deanne, Jimmy Nance; half-sisters; Diane Holbrook, Gayle Holbrook, Betty Nance; half-brother, Michael Wagoner and his wife Judy; and two special fur companions, Mollie and Milo.

There will be a service to celebrate and honor Roger's life Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gunnar Key and the staff of Yadkin Medical Associates for their care.
