Roland "Danny" Pardue

Mr. Roland Daniel “Danny” Pardue, age 61, of Kernersville passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem after a long battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Mr. Pardue was born October 5, 1957 in Guilford County to the late Roland G. and Sedelma Sparks Pardue.

Mr. Pardue grew up in Yadkin County and was a member of North Wake Baptist Church in Wake Forest, NC. He was an avid guitar musician, song writer, and recording artist.

Survivors include: daughters, Danielle Pardue Barnes and husband Eric of Kinston, NC, Jennifer Ann Pardue and Darrell Canady of Swansboro, NC; sisters, Gale Pardue Bryant and husband Wayne of Newport News, VA, Jane Pardue Mounce and husband Earl of State Road; grandchildren, Caleb D. Boseman, Madeline Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Robbie Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
