Ronald "Ronnie" Jeffery Anderson

Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Jeffery Anderson, age 66, of Jonesville, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born January 4, 1957, in Surry County to Bill and Ella Mae Prevette Anderson.

Ronnie was self-employed as a painter and enjoyed camping in the mountains, cooking out, NASCAR racing in the Dale Earnhardt days, and spending time with his family.

He was a Jonesville Church of God member.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Anderson and a sister, Becky Anderson Spicer.

Survivors include: daughter Savannah Matthews and fiancée, Christian Jackson of Boonville; brother Ricky Anderson and his wife Wanda of Jonesville; brother-in-law, Leon Spicer of Jonesville; love of his life, Mary Ann Anderson; grandchildren, Rilyn Jackson, Kairan Jackson, Brittany Anderson, Samatha Anderson, great-grandchildren; Macey Gilpin, Peyton Tolladay, Kinsley Tolladay, Jordon Tolladay, Brennon Combs; nieces, Krystal Toler, Lisa Nichols; nephews, Graylon Spicer, Joey Anderson; canine companion Rusty.

A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Randall Money, Terry Prevette, and Graylon Spicer officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Jonesville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
