Ronald Leroy Jeffries

Mr. Ronald Leroy Jeffries, age 67, of Hamptonville passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at SECU Hospice Center. Mr. Jeffries was born October 3, 1952 in Ft. Worth, TX to William Jeffries, Jr. and LaVonne Campbell Greene.

Mr. Jeffries was a retired United States Army veteran and lifetime member of the NRA. He was also a member of Union Baptist Church and a retired pest control technician with Rid A Bug.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Ray Jeffries and brother-in-law, Mike Allen.

Survivors include: wife, Patti Allen Jeffries of the home; sons, Ronald Jeffries, Jr. of Tulsa, OK, Michael Jeffries and wife Jennifer of Welcome; daughters, Kellie Robinson and husband Mark of High Point, Patricia Hammond of Nashville, TN; brothers, Richard and wife Izella, Philo; sisters, Regina and husband Dale, Patty and husband Vernon, Parrian and husband Tim; grandchildren, Josh and wife Laura, Daniel, Jasmine, Austin, Brayden, Brynnlee; great-grandson, Adam; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jewell and Harry Allen; sister-in-laws, Blenda and husband James, Shelley and husband Danny, Sherrie and husband Hal; brother-in-laws, Phillip and wife Luella, Fred and wife Charlotte-Anne, and Dael.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Pardue and Rev. Phillip Wishon officiating. Burial will full military honors provided by the US National Guard Honor Guard will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
