Rosa Lee Adams

Mrs. Rosa Lee Adams, age 85, of King passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Adams was born November 16, 1936 in Wilkes County to James and Bonnie Smith Adams.

Mrs. Adams retired from R.J. Reynolds. After retirement she was an art collector and loved to travel and color.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Verna Lee Adams and Barbara Anderson; brothers, Benny Adams and Ricky Adams.

Survivors include: sons, Dennis Swaim and his wife Gina of King, Perry D. Swaim and his wife Cheryl of Wilkesboro; sister, Jane Lineberry; grandson, Kris Swaim and his wife Dawn; three great-grandchildren, Kurt, Kaylee, and Eliana.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Benham Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Elkin Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 1427 Edgewood Dr., Suite 101, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
