Scotty Lee Gregory

Mr. Scotty Lee Gregory, age 50, of State Road passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Scotty was born July 23, 1971 in Wilkes County to Junior Gregory and Annie Williams Luffman.

Scotty was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Adilynn Renee.

Survivors include: his daughter, Chelsea Gregory and husband Brice Merritt of Boonville; father, Junior Gregory of Wilkesboro; mother and stepfather, Ann and Wayne Luffman of State Road; fiancée, Sue Baker of State Road; brothers, Jody Gregory and wife Tamara of Clemmons, Nicky Gregory of Ronda, Rocky Gregory of Elkin; granddaughter, Paisley Merritt, special friends, Bobby and Rita Holbrook of Elkin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Brett Graham and Rev. William Souther officiating. Burial will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
