Shelba Walls

Mrs. Shelba Wagoner Walls, age 84, of Elkin passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Walls was born January 3, 1937 in Surry County to Noah and Eva Sturdivant Wagoner.

Mrs. Walls was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and retired from Parkwood Place in Elkin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walls and son, Col. Norman Walls.

Survivors include: her son, Neil Walls of Elkin; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Walls of Creedmoor, NC; granddaughters, Piper Walls and Perryn Walls; several nieces, nephews, and special cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Danny Dodds and Rev. Joe Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
