Shelly Lynn Pritchard

Ms. Shelly Lynn Pritchard, age 54, of Elkin passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home. Shelly was born January 23, 1968 in Lancaster, CA to Billy Allen Pritchard and Lois Cook Pritchard.

Shelly was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being a hairstylist.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gina Pritchard; brothers, Robert Charles “Bob” Pritchard and Allen Stewart Pritchard.

Survivors include: her daughter, Shara Pritchard of Elkin; mother, Lois Cook Pritchard of Elkin; brother, David Pritchard and his wife Michelle of Yadkinville; sisters, Cathy Reece of Elkin, Sheri Norman and her husband Alan of Elkin, Donna Poe and her partner Billy Combs of Roaring River; grandchildren, Aaliyah Lynn Pritchard and Jayla Leigh Pritchard; brother-in-law: Michael Arnder of Ronda, best friend, Lisa Lyons and her husband Greg of Millers Creek; Shara’s father, Scotty Barber of Jonesville; and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
