Sherri Coe Flippen

Sherri Lynn Coe, age 62, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at her residence in Elkin. She was born July 6, 1961 in Surry County to Billy Lester Coe and Flora Mae Hanks Coe.

She worked several years at Walmart and later went to work at  Elkin Elementary School cafeteria for two years, where she enjoyed every day with the children.

Sherri was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Sherri was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Gray Coe.

Survivors include: Her daughter, Emily Pack (Tim Hudson) of the home; granddaughter, Sophia Pack, sister, Deborah Charles Coe of Elkin;  nieces and nephews, Abby Soots, Marty Soots, Stephanie Coe, and Bradley Coe.

A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., at the Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Luke Money officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Elkin Funeral Service.
