Teresa Diane Jones

Ms. Teresa Diane Jones, age 60 of Dobson passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at her residence. Ms. Jones was born July 13, 1961 in Surry County to the David Felts and Nellie Walters Felts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Denver Jones; brother, Allan Felts; and former husbands and fathers to her children, Johnny Garris and Danny Blevins.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters Shanna Steelman and her husband Jason of Advance and Danielle Blevins (Robbie Brown) of Traphill; brother, Joe Felts and his wife Vicki of Dobson; grandchildren, Chelsea Blevins (Tommy Testerman), Hailey Narvaez and her husband David, Caelen Mahan (Russell Vannoy), Jacob Steelman, and Addalyn Steelman; great-grandchild, Emma Testerman; nephews, Cody Felts (Hannah Hemric) and Casey Felts and his wife Abbie; great nephews, Grayson Felts, Eli Felts, and Josiah Felts; and a loving dog, Benji.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Dr. Wesley Smith and Rev. Cory Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
