Teresa Collins Parker

Teresa Lynn Collins Parker, 62, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elkin.

Teresa was born November 24, 1961, in Surry County to Duke Collins and Jean Bowman Collins. Teresa retired from Cedarbrook Apartments as property manager. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Jenkins, and brothers, Chris Collins and Randy Collins.

Teresa was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include son Joshua Parker and wife Elizabeth of Charlotte, daughter Julie Parker of Elkin, sister Cathy Collins Wilkes of Georgia, and grandchildren Charlie Parker, Virginia Parker, and Nathaniel Parker.

The family will receive friends at Elkin Funeral Service on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
