Teri Sue Varela

Teri Sue Varela, age 62 passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at her residence.

Teri was born August 20, 1962 in Jackson MI to Author “Sam” Smith and Paula Smith.

Teri was a member of Elkin Presbyterian Church. She loved gardening, her pets, hair styling, and her church family. Teri was also kind to everyone around her.

Teri was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother, Paula Smith of KY; her husband of 24 years, Victor Varela; sister, Tommie Norman of Jackson, MI; niece, Amanda Adair; nephews, Samuel Norman and Daniel Norman.
