Thomas Andrew “Andy” Pardue II, age 58, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at his residence in Elkin.

Andy was born July 21, 1965 in Surry County to Thomas Andrew and Geraldine “Jerry” Smoot Pardue. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, being at the lake, and going to the beach.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his sister Annnette DeCelle, grandparents Paul and Della Pardue, John and Eloise Smoot, and step-father Lee Moncus.

Survivors include: His wife, Linda Todd Pardue, of the home; children Celena Poplin and her husband Walter, Andy Holman and his wife Bambi, Ashley Hooper and her husband Andrew, and Adam Holman; an aunt Darlene St. John and her husband Ernest; six grandchildren, Sydney Craver, Arabella Bowen, Mason Holman, Jace Holman, Jaxon Hooper, and Avery Hooper; and a niece, Jonna Chappell (Patrick).

A funeral will be conducted on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gordon Macemore and Rev. Brett Graham officiating at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Shoaly Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Elkin Funeral Service on Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
