Tommy Dale Swaim

Mr. Tommy Dale Swaim, age 69, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.

He was born June 26, 1950 in Surry County to Vernon Wade Swaim and Marie Casey Swaim.  Mr. Swaim attended of Blessed Hope Church in Mt. Airy and was the owner of 268 Automotive.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Howard.

Survivors include: his wife, Elizabeth “Libby” Joiner Swaim of the home; son, Dustin Bledsoe and his spouse Lane Sims of Elkin; daughter, Wendy Smith and her spouse Nakoma Smith of Dobson; brothers, Raymond Swaim and his spouse Daphne of East Bend and Wade Swaim and his spouse Jane of Ronda; sister, Dottie Hall of Jonesville; sister-in-law Linda Phillips and her spouse David of Elkin; grandchildren, Lainey Smith and Natalie Smith and many special nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Life will be conducted Thursday, February 13, 2020 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at The Barn at Heritage Farm in Dobson.

The family requests memorials be made to Blessed Hope Church, 283 Belvue Drive, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
