Una Kaye Toney

Mrs. Una Kaye Wardell Toney, age 80, of State Road, formerly of Raymond, MS, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Toney was born July 8, 1941 in Pelahatchie, MS to Thomas and Raba Moulder Wardell.

Mrs. Toney was a member of Learned Baptist Church in Learned, MS; a graduate of the Mississippi University for Women; and worked for Leland R. Speed in Jackson, MS until she retired and opened her flower shop in Raymond, MS. She lived with her daughter in North Carolina these last years.

Mrs. Toney was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her daughter, Kaisha Toney Keller and husband Jonathan of State Road, NC; son, Jeff Toney and wife Kimberly of Rural Hall; sister, Tommye Wardell Libenschek and husband Steve of Raymond, MS; grandchildren, Michael T. Coughlin, Jr. of Chicago, IL, Emily Tony Geyer of Troutman, NC, Savannah Coughlin Harrell and husband Johnathan of State Road, NC, Jacob Toney, Jais W. Norman and wife Rose of State Road, NC; and her three nieces in Mississippi that she loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital and Mountain Valley Hospital for their care. A special thank you to all of her family and friends over the years for their love, support, and care.
