Wanda Cleary Baity

Mrs. Wanda Cleary Baity, age 77, of Elkin passed away Sunday October 31, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Baity was born July 8, 1944 in Hartford County, MD to Ander and Mildred Virginia Andrews Cleary.

Mrs. Baity was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church and retired from Walmart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Baity and brothers, Harold Cleary and Franklin Cleary.

Survivors include: her son, Daniel Cox and wife Abby of Jonesville; daughter, Ashley Baity of Elkin; sister, Patricia Bryant and husband Odean of Elkin; grandchildren, James Cox and wife Brittany, Amanda Collins and husband Gray, Allison Robison and husband Wesley, Brandy Cox, Crystal Conner, Skylar Baity; great-grandchildren, Preston Cox, Nabors Cox, Lilly Collins, Laila Collins, Addyson Robison, and Rylee Robison.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jeff Collins officiating.
