Zeke Zalon Gilpin

Mr. Zeke Zalon Gilpin, age 33, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2022, at his residence.

Zeke was born December 5, 1988, in Lynchburg, Virginia, to Leslie Harold Gilpin and Evelyn Gray Gilpin.

He was a computer programmer and dedicated online gamer with a great sense of humor and was known to be a loving and kind person.

Zeke was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include: his father, Harold Gilpin; his brother, Tony Gilpin; and his sister, Kristina Gilpin; half-brothers, Greg Gilpin, Tracy Gilpin, and Jerry Gilpin.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel, with  Rev. Newell Hauser officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted.

The family would like to thank the Surry County First Responders as well as family and friends for their care during Zeke’s health decline.
