Bonnie Burcham Mccann

Mrs. Bonnie Burcham McCann, age 84 of Roaring River, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at SECU Hospice Center in Yadkinville.

Mrs. McCann was born January 7, 1939 in Wilkes County to Avery Martin Burcham and Flora Belle Wood Burcham.

Mrs. McCann was a member of Rachel Baptist Church and retired from Tyson.  She loved cooking and gardening.

In addition to her parents  she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwight Call and her second husband, Bill McCann; brothers, Claude Burcham, Buddy Burcham, Robert Burcham, Brady Burcham and Lonnie Burcham; sisters, Grace Moody, Anna Lee Zink, Pauline Sales and Nadine Shumate.

Survivors include: a son, Timothy Call of Roaring River; a daughter, Candace Call of Greensboro; stepchildren, Trina Jordan and husband Phil, and Renea Jordan; special friends, Gail McCann and Epsie McCann.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Rachel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Wiles officiating.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Rachel Baptist Church, 6388 White Plains Road, Roaring River, NC  28669 or Mountain Valley Hospice, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mt. Airy, NC  27030.
