Bonnie Sue Luffman

Bonnie Sue Luffman, age 81, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her residence in State Road.  Ms. Luffman was born August 31, 1941 in Wilkes County to Troy Alexander Luffman and Tiny Jane Couch Luffman.

Bonnie was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by sisters; Annie Ruth Luffman Caudle, Lillian Luffman, Lydia Luffman Caudle, and Kathleen Luffman Haynes; brothers, Clarence Luffman and Wesley Luffman; a special friend, Vestal Hawkins.

Survivors include: nieces, JoAnn Haynes Cooke and husband Joseph, Wanda Faye Haynes Luther and husband Jimmy; nephews, Harold Dean Caudle and wife Jennifer, Bobby Joe Haynes and wife Ruby, Jimmy Caudle and wife Tammy; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Norman, Rev. Kenny Wood and Rev. John Newton officiating. The family will received friends 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
