Brittany Marie Hurt

Brittany Marie Hurt, age 36, of Ronda passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her residence.  Brittany was born December 27, 1986 in Bell County, Texas to Paul Hurt and Cassandra Bowers Hurt.

Brittany loved to garden and she loved animals.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Jane Triplette and Bill Gene Hurt.

Survivors include: her parents, Paul Hurt of Holden Beach and Cassandra Hurt of Ronda; son, Dakota Wayne Caudle; daughters, Katelyn Marie Merritt and Olivia Rose Merritt; brother, David and his wife Amy Hurt; grandmother, Janice Hurt; grandson, Ezra Kane Watson; special aunts and uncles, Gene Bowers, Kevin Cockerham, Tim Triplett, Joe Triplett and Audrey Rothrock.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday, March 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Newell Hauser officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
