Debra Haynes

Mrs. Debra Draughn Haynes, age 65, of Jonesville passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Haynes was born February 24, 1957 in Surry County to Roger Draughn and Phoebe Sparks Draughn.

Mrs. Haynes was a member of Oak Level Baptist Church and retired from Wilkes County Schools. She loved her grandchildren and children in general and was a volunteer with the after school program.

Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her daughter, Kimberly Garza and her husband Alex of Jonesville; sisters, Linda Oliver and her husband Harvey of Hamptonville, Carol Carter and her husband Barry of Hamptonville; grandchildren, Alex Garza III, Trevor Trivette, Avian Garza, Autumn Garza, and Evelyn Trivette.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, September 12, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Level Baptist Church with Rev. Matty Ponce-de-Leon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
