Donald Roy Triplett

Mr. Donald Roy Triplett, age 87 of Jonesville, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at LifeBrite Community Hospital of Stokes. He was born June 8, 1933 in Jenkins, Kentucky to Trent and Hyacinth Barney Triplett. Mr. Triplett was of the protestant faith and a veteran of the US Army.  He retired from Chatham Manufacturing in the engineering department and was an avid softball player and sports fan.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Trent T. Triplett; brother, Jimmy K. Triplett and sisters, Jean T. Groce and Peggy T. Stanley.

Survivors include: his wife, Gale C. Triplett of the home; children, Karen T. Minton of Jonesville, Donald Curtis Triplett and his wife Jai of Troutman, Joel Trent Triplett of Cary, and John D. Triplett and his wife Joyce of McGrady; brother, Larry Triplett and his wife Rose of Wilson, sisters, Laura T. Gilliam of Jonesville and Betty T. Martin and her husband Donnie of Jonesville; grandchildren, Erica Minton, Lindsey Triplett and Nicole Triplett and great grandchildren, Matthew Pinnix and Isabella Triplett.

Mr. Triplett will Lie-in-State Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.at Elkin Funeral Service.
