Mrs. Frances Wiles Blevins, age 87, of Ronda, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Blevins was born January 14, 1936 in Wilkes County to James Burette Wiles and Selma Campbell Wiles.
Mrs. Blevins retired from Chatham Manufacturing after 28 years of service. She loved to cook and bake cakes. Most importantly she loved her Lord, husband, and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: her husband of 68 years, Russell H. Blevins of the home; children, Kevin Blevins and his wife JoAnn, Jody Pruitt and her husband Roger, Catherine “Rusty” Osborne and her husband Michael, Marina Bauguess and her husband Darrell, and Kristie Burcham and her husband Mark; a brother, Harold Wiles; sisters, Patsy Wiles Howard and Aundra Wiles Absher; grandchildren, Misty Darnell and her husband Michael, Daniel Blevins and his wife Amy, Johnathan Pardue, Matthew Pardue, Josh Blevins and his wife Anna, Sarah Cox and her husband Scotty, Steven Bauguess, Lydia Haynes and her husband Jeffery, and James Burcham; step-grandchildren, Jerome Osborne, Tasha Hutcherson and her husband Brandon; great-grandchildren Mikey Darnell, Leeland Atwood, Cannon Blevins, Carson Blevins, Corbin Blevins, Brooklyn Blevins, Brayden Cox, Hailey Cox, and Eleanor Haynes; step-great grandchildren, Jadeah Hutchens, Dalton Osborne, Siera Durham, Lucas Hutcherson, Layla Osborne, Silas Hutcherson, and JD Osborne; step-great great grandchildren Emmette Dancy and Samuel Dancy.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Joshua Blevins, Rev. Julius Blevins and Dr. Jeremy Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the church.
The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice, Hugh Chatham Health and Dr. Walker for their care.
