Gary Alan Phillips

Gary Alan Phillips, 69, of Elkin, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at PruittHealth of Elkin.

Gary was born July 1, 1955, to Harvey and Rose Lewis Phillips. He was of the Christian faith. Gary worked at Randy Marion Automotive and considered that his favorite hobby. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and riding his motorcycle. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Lynne Carter Phillips, of the home; son Cameron Phillips and Jackie of Yadkinville; daughter Laura Hardy of Jonesville; sisters Nancy Capocy of Greensboro and Sandra Burris and husband John of Kannapolis; and grandchildren Avery Pittman and Marley Hensley.

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Elkin Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Reeves and Rev. Jeff Collins officiating. The family will receive friends at Elkin Funeral Service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
