Geneva Cox Stanley

Mrs. Onnie Geneva Stanley, age 73 of Traphill, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Stanley was a member of Union Baptist Church and was retired from Estes Trucking Company.

Mrs. Stanley was born February 6, 1950 in Wilkes County to Charlie Elmer Cox and Onnie Absher Cox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Stanley.

Survivors include: son, Jeff Lowe; brother, Rodney Cox; granddaughter, Whitney Walker and nephew, Scotty Cox and wife Sarah, great nephew Brayden and great  niece Hailey.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, August 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Stoltzfus and Rev. Jerry Simmons officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
